My Order:
How long will my jewellery take to arrive?
Once we have received the payment for your order we will begin crafting your jewellery. Normally each piece takes 3-5 working days to craft and be shipped. Once your order has been sent we will contact you with the tracking number of your parcel. UK orders take between 1-4 working days to arrive and will require a signature. EU shipments take 3-7 working days and Rest of World shipments take 5 -10 working days depending on the destination.
How can I track my order?
We send all orders using Royal Mail. Once your jewellery has been sent we will be in touch with the tracking number of the parcel. You can track your parcels progress on the royal mail website. www.royalmail.com/track-your-item
My jewellery hasn't arrived, what should I do?
Your order can be tracked online on the Royal Mail website. If your jewellery has not arrived within the standard delivery time please contact us and we will investigate what may have happened to your parcel.
Can I return my order?
Items that have not been personalised, bespokely made or crafted to a particular size can be returned for a refund or for exchange. Please see our returns and refunds policy for further details. www.curiousmagpiejewellery.com/pages/returns
I've order a ring and it doesn't fit, what shall I do?
Please contact us as soon as possible if your ring does not fit. Most rings can be re-sized in our studio for a small alteration fee. If you need to check your ring size we can either send you a re-usable ring sizer for an additional £5 (UK only) or alternatively you can have your ring sized at a local jewellers.
Please note that we don't advise taking your ring to a third party for repairs as this will invalidate your warranty.
Ordering:
Can I have my order gift wrapped?
Yes, we offer a gift wrapping service. For an additional £5 we will beautifully gift wrap the jewellery and add a gift card with a special message. We can also send the jewellery directly to the recipient if you are short of time. Please contact us if you would like to add this service to your order.
Can I order an item in a specific size?
As everything is handcrafted in our UK studio we can make jewellery to specific sizes, such as longer necklaces ordifferent size leather bracelets. If you would like to order a piece of jewellery to a specific size please contact us at design@curiousmagpie.net
I need my jewellery urgently, are you able to send it more quickly?
If you need your jewellery urgently please let us know. For UK orders we offer an express shipping option for an additional £5, which can be selected at checkout. Your jewellery will be crafted within 1-2 working day and sent using Royal Mail Next Day Special Delivery. If you need the order urgently sent outside of the UK please let us know and we can give you the different shipment options and prices for that country.
Can I have something bespoke made?
Yes, as everything is handmade in our UK studio we can certainly make bespoke orders for customers, whether it be entirely new designs or a variation on a piece in our collection. Please contact us for more details.
Am I able to purchase a gift voucher?
If you would like to buy a piece of jewellery for a loved one but are unsure of what they would like you can purchase a gift voucher to use on our online store. Gift vouchers are available in any value from £20, please contact us for more details.
I would like to order a ring but I'm unsure of my size, what shall I do?
If you are unsure of your ring size, for an additional £5 (UK only) we can send you a ring sizer for you to measure your finger. This sizer can be re-used so keep it for future purchases. Alternatively you can ask your local jeweller to measure your ring size. We can make rings in any size in UK, European, Canadian and American sizes.
Do you ship to my country?
Curious Magpie are an international company and ship to lots of countries all around the world. If you are unsure whether we can ship to your country please contact us before placing your order.
Can you make a piece of jewellery in gold?
Yes, many of the pieces of jewellery can be made in gold, paladium and platinum. If you would like a quote for one of our designs in a different metal please get in touch.
Problems with the Jewellery:
My jewellery has tarnished, what shall I do?
Silver, Copper and Brass will age naturally over time. Oxygen and moisture on the air will gradually tarnish your jewellery however there are different ways of preventing this. My chain has snapped, can it be replaced?
If a chain has snapped we cannot repair it as it will create a weak point within the chain and may break again. We can however craft a replacement chain for you. We offer a 6 month warranty on all our jewellery so if there is an issue within this time we will replace your chain free of charge. If your chain has been pulled or caught and snapped unfortunately this is not covered by the warranty and you will have to purchase a new chain for a small charge.
Is there a warranty on my jewellery?
Yes, Curious Magpie offer a 6 month warranty on all products. This warranty is void if the jewellery has been mistreated, carelessly handled or any third party repairs have been carried out. Please note this warranty does not cover normal wear-and-tear such as tarnishing silver or ageing leather.
