Bespoke Designs

Alongside the Curious Magpie Collection, Hollie also works on bespoke enquiries and commissions. Over the last 20 years she has had the privilege of creating many special and unique pieces of jewellery including heirloom pieces, wedding & engagement rings, personalised jewellery and special pieces celebrating anniversaries, birthdays and graduations. 

The Design Process

If you would like to have a unique piece of jewellery created please send Hollie an e-mail at design@curiousmagpie.net

You will initially discuss ideas with Hollie and she will  talk you through different options and give you advice on how to bring your design to life. 

Once you have a clearer idea of what you would like, Hollie will create an initial design sheet and you will then work together to develop the design, talking about different techniques, styles and processes. Hollie may create mock-ups and samples to help you imagine what the finished piece of jewellery will look like. She is also able to source precious and non precious gemstones for you to choose from, if you would like to incorporate these into your design. 

Depending on the complexity of the design, bespoke pieces usually take between 4-6 weeks to craft, however this is only a rough guide.

A deposit of £50 will be required after the first meeting/initial calls or e-mails to go towards the design fee to create mood boards or an initial design sheet. Once a rough idea has been chosen Hollie will prepare a cost and talk through different payment options.

Hollie works in Silver, Gold, White Gold and Platinum. If you have a relatives jewellery that you would like melting down and incorporating into the design please get in touch and Hollie can let you know the different options.
